Littelfuse takes over Menber
Littlefuse Inc. from Chicago has announced that it has taken over the Italian manufacturer Menber Spa from Legnago/Verona.
Menber was founded in 1965, had a turnover of approx. EUR 21 m in 2015 and employs about 120 people. It manufactures battery disconnection switches, adapters and electrical and electronic components for the automobile industry. The takeover is an important step for Littelfuse towards expanding its global activities especially in the motor vehicle industry.
Littelfuse offers innovative contactor solutions and had a turnover of USD 868 m (EUR 762 m) in 2015, placing it among the world market leaders.
