A corresponding contract was signed at the "electronica" trade fair in Munich.

Harting is a leading international manufacturer of industrial connectivity technology headquartered in Minden. Heilind Electronics, with their headquarter in Wilmington, MA, is the largest distributor of connectors and components in the US and one of the world's largest specialty dealers in this sector.

Harting continues to expand its existing partnership with Heilind in the United States and is now also benefiting from the extensive network of the Heilind organization worldwide.

Joachim Maier (51), former sales director at Legrand Germany, has taken over sales for Austria with effect from 1st January 2015.

A qualified electronic engineer, he has already been at Legrand for practically 15 years.

His predecessor, Christiaan Van Terheijden, becomes managing director at the Dutch company Minkels, where he is to oversee its successful incorporation into the Legrand Group and further expand the activities in data centre solutions. Minkels, a globally operating supplier of integrated complete solutions for high-end data centre infrastructures, has belonged to Legrand since 2012.
