According to Italian specialist reports the Italian electrical wholesale trade managed an average rise of 6.31% in 2015..........

against the prior year, whereby it was interesting to observe that apart from January and February there were only rises.

This average figure of 6.31% is mainly due to the good result of the three electrical groups, with Sonepar leading the ranks with +10.8%, followed by Elex Italia with +8.7% and Startre with plus 8.4%.

After them comes FEGIME with 5.9%, the Elettroteca Group with +5.5%, followed by ANSE with 5.26% and FINDEA with 5.1%. GEWA had +0.95% and REXEL a drop of 2.8%.

Servat Punzano, managing director of the NOU Group, has been appointed secretary of the European group.

The previous president of Global Electric GEWA, Giobatta Chiappori, will represent the Italian member GEWA Italia on the board in future.

The other members of the board are Adam Radowski, Jordi Balash i Pijoan and Giobatta Chiappori.

The Spanish purchasing association Nou Grup is expanding its presence in mainland Spain and on Majorca.

The Spanish purchasing association Nou Grup is expanding its presence in mainland Spain and on Majorca.

Since the beginning of 2015 the following have joined: Esede Electric in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona): New Matelsa in Elche (Alicante); Utremel Utrera with 3 branches in Utrera, Los Palacios (Sevilla) and Arcos de la Frontera (Cádiz); and BonGrup Baleares with 7 branches on Majorca.

In total Nou Grup now has a total of 48 partner companies with 99 branches and a total estimated market share of 10%.

Nou Grup is part of the international purchasing association GEWA.
