Rauscher is also chairman of the working group ‘Relays, switch gear, and industrial control’ within the association ZVEI.
Finder designs, manufactures and sells electromechanical relays for the industry and installation equipment for buildings.

Roger Little, head of Rexel Canada, is expected to bring his experience mainly to project management at headquarters; in addition, he and Jeff Baker (CEO in the US) will try to take the business in North America to a new level.

Pierre Benoît, head of Benelux, will be appointed CEO of the newly established UK / Ireland-Benelux cluster, focusing mainly on his experience in digital transformation.

These changes apply from 1.4.2019; all the above persons report to Patrick Berard in Paris.

Both gentlemen have been working in the Hager Group for many years.One of them is Mike Elbers, who will be responsible for the business development and marketing fields and the other is François Lhomme, who will be responsible for the technology and engineering sector.

The new board of directors as of January 2018 consists of the following five persons: Daniel Hager (chairman), Mike Elbers (marketing), Philippe Ferragu (purchasing), Franck Houdebert (human resources), François Lhomme (technology).

Hager employs 11,400 workers and generates a global turnover of approx. EUR 1.9 bn.

Novello studied electrical engineering and finance at the University of Padua and most recently he was CEO at BFT, based in Schio, a specialist in entry and access automation. Prior to that he was at Carrier, Jacuzzi and De Longhi.

Sonepar’s turnover in Italy amounts to approx. EUR 230 m.

Vesa Vuopio (40) is coming to Onninen on 3rd August and replacing Frank Robert Eriksen, who is retiring in Autumn, as sourcing director of the whole Onninen group.

Previously Vuopio was head of purchasing at the BE Group, which made a turnover of SEK 4.2 bn in 2014 (EUR 449 m) and is one of the market leaders in the steel and aluminium products trade in Scandinavia.

Vuopio will report directly to the vice-president Tuomo Väänänen.

Onninen, which is based in Finland, is an important electrical wholesaler in Scandinavia and generated a turnover of EUR 1.5 bn in 2014.

Thierry Delarue has been appointed as Rexel’s vice-president for strategy and business transformation with effect from 1st July 2015.

Thierry Delarue has been appointed as Rexel’s vice-president for strategy and business transformation with effect from 1st July 2015.

In this newly created position Delarue will work closely together with the regional managers and their teams. In addition he will be a member of the executive committee and reports directly to CEO Rudy Provoost.

Delarue (45) comes from Thomson Reuters/Hong Kong, where he was responsible for strategy and business development in the Asia/Pacific region and Japan. Prior to this he had been in charge of business strategy in India, the Middle East and Africa at Nokia from 2008 to 2013.

From his activities at national and international level he is familiar with a very wide variety of markets, diverse customer structures and the three-stage distribution system.

Most recently he had been responsible for running the mobile safety department at the safety specialists Abus.

This has now made him the obvious successor as chairman to Göran Näsholm, who is retiring after 17 years in this position.

Ahlsell, one of the leading technical companies in Scandinavia, made a consolidated turnover of EUR 2.34 bn (2013 EUR 2.19 bn) in the 2014 business year, employing a total of approx. 4,800 people. Ahlsell is a member of the international marketing association IMELCO.
