Rexel Announces the appointment of Thomas Moreau as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rexel France. The appointment of Moreau will take effect on 1 October. For the past three years, Moreau has served as Commercial Vice President of Rexel France.
Moreau joined Rexel in 2017 after spending fifteen years in various positions at Schneider Electric, where he became Vice President Business Strategy France in 2014. Moreau graduated from EDHEC Business School.

In addition, Shahab Chaudhry, currently CFO of Rexel Middle East, has been appointed Rexel Canada's Corporate Controller. Chaudhry has held various financial positions within the Rexel Group over the last 10 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the Middle East business in recent years.

His successor will be as of November 1, Ms. Joanne Bjelanovic; she will be based in Dubai.

Grauze joined 3M in 1990 and has held senior management positions in finance, auditing and acquisitions.

Grauze takes over the position from Matt Ginter, who retires at the end of June after 28 years with 3M.

Voigtländer has been the CEO since 2011 and has made a name for himself in particular in the internationalization of the company.

Norbert Schiedeck, the managing director of technology, will take over the area of Voigtländer in addition to his duties.

Frank H. Lakerveld, who wanted to retire. However, today the situation is that Lakerveld  is still president of the strategy commission and also still has a seat and voting rights on the company’s advisory board (very unusual).

At the beginning of 2011 F. Bruel was appointed COO and managing director of Sonepar, thus becoming the top boss at Sonepar alongside Marie-Christine Coisne, the owner,  and François Poncet, the financial director.

It is now over 3 weeks since Bruel was dismissed and probably only very few people know why. This does not reflect particularly well on Sonepar, esepcially as Bruel had a very good reputation with suppliers and the public.

going to move to Schneider Electric as Germany boss. Barbara Frei, described as a superwoman by a Swiss business magazine, has in addition held a seat in the board of directors of Swisscom for 4 years.

Since 1998 she has been working in the ABB Group in a variety of leading positions, having been among other things national director for ABB in the Czech Republic, Italy and head of the Mediterranean Region, where she had overall responsibility for billions of Swiss francs.

In Germany Schneider Electric’s companies include APC, Merten, Pelco and Ritto.

for all international distribution enclosure manufacturing units. Until now Khalid Mandri has been responsible for the manufacturing and marketing sectors at ABB in a variety of countries. Most recently he led ABB‘s entire low-voltage business in Saudi Arabia.

With Mandri’s years of experience in the international market and customer knowledge, Striebel & John (a company of the ABB Group), will increase the focus on customers’ needs.

The aim is to respond even more to customers’ needs and thus to generate growth even outside its core markets.
