Wesco from Pittsburgh/ Pennsylvania is one of the largest electrical and industrial wholesale companies in the United States.............

with a turnover of EUR 7 bn in 2014. For 2015, as already announced, a drop of 4- 5% is expected. 

Wesco’s president, John J. Engel , has now given an outlook for 2016, where he expects reduced demand in end markets, mainly driven by the raw materials sector and the currency situation, which will continue  for the whole year. Therefore turnover figures are expected to range between last year’s level and minus 5%.

In 2016 the company’s aims include improving its profitability and, by means of acquisitions, where good chances are seen, to expand its product and services portfolios.

The electrical wholesale company Electro-Industrie en Acoustiek (EIA) has its headquarters in Aartselaar and maintains branches in Antwerp and Schoten.

It has approx. 30 employees on its payroll and its turnover is estimated at EUR 15 m.
